There's no place like home...
Although I like to go to far-away places and love 'foreign' travelling, complete with mosquito bites, and character-building experiences such as sitting on buses for endless hours, I'm just as happy to explore my immediate environment. The scenery of Ireland and the UK is stunning, and there's the added bonus of generally being able to read the road signs and understand the locals. This is a selection of my favourite 'home' photographs... while they're not the best technically, they all remind me of the wonderful time I had in that particular place, and the people I was with. I hope you like them!
I think nearly all of the photos above were taken before I started this website, and I've since written in more detail about various excursions throughout Ireland and England in the 'Meanderings' blog section of the site. To read about these, and to see some more 'homegrown' photographs, go to the 'Ireland Rediscovered' or the 'My England'/'Exploring The Fens' categories of the blog. (I've also included some direct links below to several of the Irish destinations).
